Every month we will be highlighting someone from our practice who has been acting as a catalyst for social change within the community.

Sarah Grimes

Sarah has a deep fascination with health, wellness, psychology and spirituality. The most important questions in her life have to do with what makes people tick, on both the physical and energetic levels. She’s a new California transplant who originally hails from New England. But after cycling to the west coast from Rhode Island with a nonprofit last summer, she decided to stay. She is working hard to finish massage therapy school at The National Holistic Institute in Emeryville and ultimately hopes to open her own holistic wellness and healing center. She envisions a beautiful space where people can come to recover from injuries and illnesses, move toward balance in their lives, and maybe even discover more about who they are and why they’re on this planet. She also has a certificate to teach vinyasa yoga, is a reiki practitioner, and has earned her Master’s degree in psychology and mental health and substance abuse counseling. Sarah is excited to have the privilege to intern at the Source for the next few months and serve the Piedmont community through massage and healing touch.
